ESPN’s Marc Stein just reported the following concerning the Rockets and free agent center Brad Miller.
Free-agent C Brad Miller having dinner tonight w/HOU coach Rick Adelman, his ex-Kings boss. Miller was also scheduled to talk w/Cavs today
As Stein points out, Miller played with Adelman in Sacramento from 2003-2007. He knows Adelman’s offensive sets and would be a logical fit in Houston.
Miller, 34, averaged 8.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game last season with Chicago. He appeared in all 82 games for the Bulls, the first time that he has played a full season in his career.

Love it.
I think this is more of a formality and it’s a done deal (unless someone just offers him stupid money). This would be why they didn’t take a Center in the draft.
Miller knows the system and will be great as a backup (and insurance!) to Yao.
