Rockets Will Sign Rookie Patterson Following Fourth Summer League Game

Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle is reporting via Twitter that the Houston Rockets will officially sign first round pick Patrick Patterson following the conclusion of Tuesday night’s Vegas Summer League game against the Toronto Raptors.

Still nothing done for Rockets in FA market, but will sign rookie Patrick Patterson after today’s game. #hounews

Patterson has impressed during his three Summer League games thus far and is a near lock to make the Rockets’ final 12-man roster.

Update! The deal has been agreed upon and signed. Patterson will get a two-year guaranteed contract, with two one-year options to boot.
