Rockets Plan To Match Cavs Offer For Lowry

As expected, the Houston Rockets will match the Cavaliers offer for PG Kyle Lowry.

News broke as Daryl Morey said via Twitter:

Congratulations to Kyle Lowry on signing his new deal. We plan to match the agreement and we are excited he will be returning to the Rockets

Lowry was a key part of the Rockets' rotation last year, averaging nearly 25 minutes a game.

Update (3:30 p.m.): The Rockets have officially re-signed Lowry. The deal is done.
