No stranger to NBA chatter, Yahoo! Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that the Rockets are offering up three of their best players from last season in order to land a top-tier power forward via sign-and-trade.
In their quest to land either of the top two free-agent power forwards – Chris Bosh or Amar’e Stoudemire – the Houston Rockets have been offering Trevor Ariza, Shane Battier and free agent Luis Scola in potential sign-and-trade packages, league sources said.
The Rockets would like to keep Aaron Brooks if at all possible, though the first objective in landing Bosh or Stoudemire would be to convince either to come to Houston in the fist place. If the Rockets manage to do that, then trade talks will become relevant.
