The Houston Texans are coming off a 24-14 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars in what was a huge victory for a Texans team that is looking at claiming the AFC South division this year. The Texans kept the division lead all to themselves with the victory and moved one spot higher in the ESPN Power Rankings this week as they move to No. 11.
The Texans (5-3) now have a half-game lead over the Tennessee Titans (4-3) in the AFC South division. The Texans easily took care of the Titans a few weeks ago by winning 41-7 on the road at Tennessee. They now hold their fate in their own hands and have taken care of business so far in their own division by winning all three games so far this year.
The Titans come in this week at No. 20, one spot down from last week. The Jaguars also fell one spot from No. 25 to No. 26, and the Colts again sit at No. 32 and dead last in the ESPN Power Rankings this week.
