2011 NFL Playoff Scenarios: Texans Could Face Bengals, Titans, Jets Or Raiders

The Houston Texans' 2012 NFL Playoff position is set - the AFC South Champions will make their franchise postseason debut as the No. 3 overall seed, but their opening opponent in the Wild Card round is still very much a mystery.

There's a small chance Sunday's opponent - the Tennessee Titans - could be right back in Houston for the playoffs, provided a lot of things go Tennessee's way (see below). The likeliest opponent is the Cincinnati Bengals, who have a 68.75 percent chance of clinching the No. 6 wild card seed, per NFL.com. Also alive to play the Texans are the New York Jets and Oakland Raiders.

For every possible scenario, consult this handy chart, courtesy of NFL.com and the Houston Chronicle. Follow along to find out what happens per every game on New Year's Day with implications on Houston's opponent (games are listed at the top, and each line is a scenario featuring a different set of winners, and ultimately the No. 6 seed for that sequence of events):
