Olympic Trials Marathon 2012: Meb Keflezighi Defeats Ryan Hall With Personal Best Marathon Time

The 2012 Olympic Marathon Trials was held in Houston on Saturday and Meb Keflezighi defeated Ryan Hall by running his best marathon time ever. Keflezighi won Saturday with an unofficial time of 2:09:07. Hall finished second and will join Keflezighi and Abdi Abdirahman, who finished third, in the 2012 London Olympics.

Keflezighi also won the silver medal in the 2004 Olympics in Athens and set a personal record back in November in the 2011 NYC Marathon.

Men's:
Meb Keflezighi
Ryan Hall
Abdi Abdirahman

Women's:
Shalane Flangan
Desi Davila
Kara Goucher
Alternate: Amy Hastings

The women's marathon in London will be held on August 5. The men's race will be on August 12.

NBC will be broadcasting the Trials beginning at 3 p.m. ET on Saturday on a condensed tape delay.
