Rockets Vs. Pistons Final Score: Houston Defeats Detroit 97-80

The Houston Rockets used a balanced offensive attack to capture their fourth win in a row with a 97-80 defeat of the Detroit Pistons.

Luis Scola and Samuel Dalembert led six different Rockets' scorers in double figures with 14 points each. Dalembert also grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds with six coming on the offensive end of the court. Kyle Lowry finished with 13 points and five assists while Patrick Patterson scored a season-high 12 points off the bench. Kevin Martin and Goran Dragic each scored 11 to round out Houston's double figure scorers.

Houston out rebounded Detroit 42-35 including 17 offensive rebounds. The only negative for the Rockets came in the form of 21 turnovers in the game.

Tayshaun Prince scored 20 points to lead the Pistons while Ben Gordan added 18. Rodney Stuckey chipped in 16 points off the bench and Brandon Knight finished with 15. Greg Monroe had a tough go of it shooting the basketball finishing with four points on 2-9 shooting but did manage 11 rebounds and six assists in the game.

With the win, the Rockets reach the .500 mark at 7-7. Houston is 5-1 at the Toyota Center this season. Detroit falls to 3-11 overall and just 1-6 on the road this season.

Rockets Vs. Pistons Score: Houston Leading 69-59 Heading To The Fourth

The Houston Rockets extended their halftime lead outscoring the Detroit Pistons 22-17 in the third quarter to take a 69-59 lead.

Luis Scola leads the Rockets with 14 points and five rebounds. Kyle Lowry has 13 points and five assists while Samuel Dalembert has 12 points and 11 boards through three quarters. Houston has a 37-25 rebounding advantage but has turned the ball over 17 times to keep the Pistons in the game.

Tayshaun Prince has a game-high 18 points for the Pistons. Ben Gordon has 15 points while Rodney Stuckey and Brandon Knight have 11 points each. The Pistons are shooting just over 41 percent through three quarters but have eight steals and seven blocks to hang around in the game.

Rockets Vs. Pistons Score: Houston Takes 47-40 Lead Over Detroit Into Halftime

The Houston Rockets are 24 minutes away from a four game winning streak and lead the Detroit Pistons 47-40 at halftime. The Rockets cooled off in the second quarter but still finished the half shooting 50 percent.

Luis Scola leads the Rockets with 10 points hitting 4-8 shots in the first half. Samuel Dalembert has eight points and either rebounds while Kevin Martin and Kyle Lowry each finished with seven points. The Rockets out rebounded the Pistons 24-15 in the first half.

Tayshaun Prince leads the Pistons with 12 points while rookie Brandon Knight added 11. Rodney Stuckey scored nine points off the bench and Ben Gordon has six for the Pistons. Dalembert and company did a good job on Detroit big man Greg Monroe holding him to zero points on 0-3 shooting and three rebounds in 15 minutes of action.

Rockets Vs. Pistons Score: Houston Jumps Out To 28-20 Lead

The Houston Rockets came out scorching and lead the Detroit Pistons 28-20 at the end of the first quarter. The Rockets hit 13-19 field goals in the first quarter to build the lead.

Its been a balanced offensive attack for Houston with seven of the eight Rockets players to appear in the game have scoring. Luis Scola and Samuel Dalembert lead the way with eight points. Kevin Martin hit 2-3 attempts and has five at the end of the quarter. Kyle Lowry is also off to a good start distributing the basketball finishing with four points and four assists.

Tayshaun Prince leads the way for the Pistons with 10 points including a leak out at the end of the quarter to pull the Pistons to within eight at the quarter's end. Detroit hit 52 percent of its shots in the quarter and will look to tighten up the defense in the second.
