Texans vs. Jaguars injury report: Ben Tate out for third consecutive week

The Texans will be without their backup running back who is slow to return from a hamstring injury that has kept him out of action since Oct. 21.

Houston Texans backup running back Ben Tate will miss the team's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday because of a hamstring injury that has sidelined him for three consecutive weeks.

Tate participated in Texans practice on Wednesday, but head coach Gary Kubiak did not like the way the third-year back out of Auburn came out of the workout, according to The Houston Chronicle. Tate was held out of practice both Thursday and Friday.

Houston tight end Owen Daniels is listed as questionable for Sunday's game with a back injury that kept him out of action in the team's 13-6 win over the Chicago Bears in Week 10. Daniels, who nearly against the Bears is expected to be a game-time decision on Sunday.

Linebacker Tim Dobbins, who was limited in practice all week because of a shoulder injury is listed as questionable as well.

Kickoff is scheduled at 11 p.m. CT at Reliant Stadium on Sunday.
