Texas A&M will be featured at least two times on Thursday Night SEC Baseball.
ESPN announced the return of the Thursday Night SEC Baseball Game of the Week for 2013 on Wednesday, the third-annual SEC-focused baseball series on ESPNU. As SEC newcomers, Texas A&M is slated to appear in in two of the seven announced games.
The Aggies kick off the series on March 28, 2013, on the road against South Carolina. In 2012, the Gamecocks lost to the Arizona Wildcats in the championship series of the College World Series. First pitch for that game will be at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Texas A&M then plays the final game in the announced series on May 9, 2013, at home against the LSU Tigers. First pitch is at 8 p.m. CT against a Tigers team that advanced to the Super Regionals stage of the playoffs.
An additional "wildcard" game between two teams yet to be selected will air the following week, May 16, on ESPN3.
Texas A&M finished last season with a 43-18 record and were ranked No. 8 in 2012's final coaches poll.
