NBA Trade Rumors: Stephen Jackson Heading Back To Spurs?

It doesn't involve the Rockets, but Port Arthur's own Stephen Jackson appears to be headed to his third team in the past three days. The San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors are discussing a deal that would send SJax to SA for Richard Jefferson.

What's interesting from Jackson's angle is that he just got traded to the team he saw his most personal success with, and could be headed to the team he's seen the most team success with. Will Jackson thrive in that environment in SA again? Will he disrupt their chemistry more than help them?

↵

From a Rockets perspective, I hope this happens. Although the Spurs haven't gotten much out of Richard Jefferson (9.2 ppg, 3.5 rpg), they could be hurt by Jackson more if he doesn't fit into Pop's system, right? Or am I just trying to reach to find SOMETHING positive out of this deadline??

Sigh...
