The Houston Rockets got a much needed win over the Memphis Grizzlies 98-89, and the win put the Rockets at worst on pace with the Utah Jazz for the No. 8 spot. The first half saw each team have a dominating quarter but it was the Rockets who had the better second half to get the win.

The Rockets held off the Grizzles in the second half behind Goran Dragic who scored a game-high 25 points by shooting 9-of-14 from the field and 3-of-5 from three-point range. Overall the Rockets had four players in double figures and Marcus Camby scored eight points and pulled down 16 rebounds.
The three-point shooting is how the game was won for the Rockets as they went 7-of-14 while the Grizzlies only made one. Rudy Gay led all Grizzlies players in scoring with 20 points.
