Two of the nation's top college baseball teams go head-to-head in College Station on Tuesday.
The No. 7 ranked Rice Owls, 27-11 overall and tied for first place in Conference USA with a 9-3 league record, closes out its road trip with a battle against No. 2 Texas A&M on Tuesday in College Station. The first pitch against the Aggies (28-8 overall) is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. This game wraps-up a stretch of the schedule where the Owls plays seven-of-eight games away from home.
Rice is ranked No. 7 by Baseball America, No. 11 by College Baseball Magazine and No. 13 by USA Today/ESPN. With their current record, the Owls have their best record through 38 games since 2009 when they were 26-9 through the same stretch.
