2012 Players Championship Winner: Matt Kuchar Earns Win At 13-Under

Matt Kuchar held off the field to win The Players Championship by two strokes at the TPC At Sawgrass. Kuchar recorded a final round of 70 to get to 13-under for the tournament. A birdie on 16 provided some breathing room heading into the final two holes.

Rickie Fowler, Martin Laird, Zach Johnson and Ben Curtis all tie for second finishing at 11-under. Luke Donald checks in at 9-under while Bo Van Pelt, Jhonattan Vegas and Kevin Na all finished at 8-under.

Na entered Sunday's final round with a one stroke lead over Kuchar but struggled his way to a four-over par final round. David Toms and Carl Pettersson round out the top 10 finishing at 7-under.

The Players Championship 2012 Leaderboard: Kevin Na, Matt Kuchar Tied For Lead

Kevin Na began the final round of the 2012 The Players Championship with a one shot lead but a bogey on the sixth hole has him tied with Matt Kuchar atop Sunday's leaderboard. Na missed a short par put on No. 6 to fumble away his lead. Kuchar is even par through the first six holes of his round.

Luke Donald is in the clubhouse with a final round 66 and is 9-under and tied for third place with Martin Laird and Zach Johnson. Carl Pettersson and Rickie Fowler are a little farther back at 8-under.

Tiger Woods struggled and recorded a 1-over, 73 during his final round to finish at 1-under for the tournament. Phil Mickelson is 1-over through 14 holes and is 3-under and tied for 28th.

Players Championship 2012: Tee Times, Pairings, TV Schedule For Sunday

Kevin Na holds a one stroke lead over Matt Kuchar entering the final round of The Players Championship on Sunday. Both will be a part of the tournament's final pairing that are scheduled to tee off at around 2:45 p.m. ET.

Tiger Woods made the cut and is at 2-under par and will tee off at around 11:25 p.m. ET along with Jim Furyk. Final round coverage begins at 12 p.m. ET on the Golf Channel and at 2 p.m. on NBC.

The Players Championship 2012: Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson Remain At 1-Under

Tiger Woods is at one-over through nine holes and Phil Mickelson is at one-over through eight. Both players remain at 1-under and tied for 46th overall in the 2012 Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass in Florida.

The leaders have yet to tee off on Saturday, as the trio of Matt Kuchar, Kevin Na and Zach Johnson sit at 8-under for The Players Championship and look to tee off in less than an hour from now. Kuchar and Harris English, in fourth place at 7-under, will tee off at 2:24pm Eastern. Na and Johnson will tee off at 2:35pm Eastern.

Other notable movers include Rickie Fowler, who has had a hot start and is 3-under for the round and 6-under for the tournament. Sergio Garcia is 4-under for the round and 4-under for the tournament. Jhonattan Vegas is 3-under for the day and 5-under for the tournament.

2012 Players Championship: Tee Times, Pairings, TV Schedule For Saturday

Texas A&M alumnus Jeff Maggert is in good position for a weekend charge. Maggert, a resident of Houston, is currently at -3 at the 2012 Players Championship, and will look to separate himself from the field on Saturday. Maggert is paired with Josh Teater, and the two will tee off at 11:05 a.m. CT, 12:05 p.m. locally in Florida where the tournament is being held.

Zach Johnson, Kevin Na and Matt Kuchar currently share the lead at -8 for the tournament, so Maggert isn't too far off the lead as weekend play opens on Saturday.

Players Championship 2012 Leaderboard: Jeff Maggert Tied For 17th

After the first two days of the Players Championship, Zach Johnson, Matt Kuchar, and Kevin Na sit tied atop the leaderboard. The three golfers will each begin moving day at eight under par, with numerous other players within striking distance.

One of the golfers within range and trying to make a run this weekend is Houston resident and Texas A&M graduate Jeff Maggert. Maggert shot a second round score of 71 and is currently at 3-under par for the tournament. He is currently in tied for 17th place with a slew of golfers, including such notables as Rickie Fowler, Ian Poulter, Luke Donald, and Lee Westwood.

Notables missing the even par cut today were Rory McIIroy, Hunter Mahan, Padraig Harrington, Graeme McDowell, and defending champion K.J. Choi. Mcllroy has now missed the cut in each of his three appearances at The Players.

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are both currently at 2-under par for the tournament.

Players Championship 2012 Leaderboard: Jeff Maggert Tied For 30th

The 2012 Players Championship is pretty competitive toward the top, with Martin Laird already losing the lead he held earlier in the day, due to a tough double-bogey on the 17th hole toward the end. But Houston resident and Texas A&M graduate Jeff Maggert is 2-under par, tied for 31st place. Maggert should be teeing off at any moment with a scheduled time of 1;21.

Zach Johnson has elevated to the top of the leaderboard with an 8-under par and a total score of 136 through the first two rounds. Right behind him are six guys tied for second place: Laird, Brian Davis, Jonathan Byrd, Adam Scott, Charlie Wi, Kevin Na.

Last year's Players Championship winner was K.J. Choi.
