Texas A&M's sweep of San Diego State (4-1 Friday, 1-0 Saturday, 4-2 Sunday) over the weekend wasn't enough to boost their ranking by Baseball America, as they will spend another week in the #10 spot.
The Top 10 contains the same teams as last week, but there was some shuffling as last weeks #2 and #3 Baylor and LSU lost series to Oklahoma and Vanderbilt, respectively.
A&M (37-14) likely would have moved up had they played a stronger opponent (SDSU is now 22-30 on the season) or scored more runs (only 9 total for the weekend), though the Aggie pitching was excellent all weekend- highlighted by senior Ross Stripling's no-hitter on Saturday.
The Aggies return to play Tuesday against Texas State at Olsen Field, and finish the regular season at Oklahoma State this weekend.

The Texas A&M Aggies' 4-2 victory on Sunday completed a three-game sweep over the San Diego State Aztecs. Aggies third baseman Matt Juengel hit a clutch three-run double in the bottom of the eighth inning to give his team the win. Despite collecting ten hits, the Aztecs offense was unable to break through against Texas A&M's pitching.
Aggies starter Rafael Pineda pitched 6.2 innings, allowing eight hits but only giving up one earned run. The Aztecs left eight runners on-base on Sunday. Pineda is 5-1 with a 2.61 ERA in his 12 starts.
Ranked No. 8 in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' Poll, the Aggies are 6-1 in the month of May. The team ends their regular season hosting Texas State on Tuesday and then heading to Stillwater for a three-game series against the Oklahoma Sooners. Texas A&M is currently tied for third place in the Big 12 with Oklahoma State and Texas.

Texas A&M Aggies senior pitcher Ross Stripling threw the 11th no-hitter in Aggies history as his stunning pitching performance was sorely needed in a 1-0 defeat over the San Diego State Aztecs on Saturday in College Station.
For Stripling, on the day he was supposed to walk across the stage, he got a gift he could've expected waking up in the morning.
"They were hitting some balls hard, they were just right at guys. It ended up being the best pitching game of my life." -- Ross Stripling
The Aggies scored its only run in the second inning as Blake Allemand singled in Chance Bolcerek. Stripling struck out seven Aztecs hitters, as only a fifth-inning walk prevented a perfect outing from the senior. The hurler threw 106 pitches over nine innings at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The Aggies are now 36-14 on the season.

Texas A&M's final homestand in the Big 12 will be against non-conference foe San Diego State, but there's still plenty on the line when it comes to NCAA Tournament seeding.
