Texas A&M Vs. Oklahoma State Baseball: Aggies Defeat Cowboys 5-4, Sweep Series

Texas A&M came from a 4-2 and scored three runs in the top of the ninth to 5-4 when pitcher Daniel Megden came in to hit a pitch hit and proceeded to hit a three-run home run off of Oklahoma State reliever Blake Barnes for the win.

Oklahoma State did get on the board first in the top of the second inning by scoring a pair of runs off of Rafael Pineda and then another run in the third inning also off of Pineda.

Texas A&M started their comeback in the top of the third inning to score a pair of runs to tie the game at two when Jacob House hit a two-RBI single with two outs. Then six innings later and Megden hit the game winning three-run home run.

Saturday's come from behind win gave Texas A&M the sweep over Oklahoma State and extended their winning streak to seven games.

Texas A&M Vs. Oklahoma State Baseball: Aggies Defeat Cowboys 8-7

Texas A&M earned their second straight victory over Oklahoma State by winning 8-7 on Friday night. The Aggies offense was on a roll as they scored a pair of runs in the first two innings and the game started to look like a blowout as Texas A&M led 6-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth inning.

Texas A&M starting pitcher Ross Stripling was having a good night but in the bottom of the sixth inning he allowed Oklahoma State to score five runs and tie the game at six runs apiece. There were no big plays for Oklahoma State but their batters just chipped away against Sterling with five hits and five runs to tie the game heading into the top of the seventh.

Texas A&M responded in the top of the eighth inning with two runs to go up for good when Tyler Naquin hit an RBI triple and then he scored on a wild pitch.

Oklahoma State made one final push by scoring a run in the bottom of the ninth, but Kyle Martin tightened up his pitching game and got the final two outs to earn the save and give Texas A&M the 8-7 win.

Texas A&M Baseball Moves To Second Place In Big 12 With Two Games Remaining

Texas A&M outlasted Oklahoma State 5-2 in extra innings on Thursday night in a win that gave the Aggies sole possession of second place in the Big 12 headed into next week's conference tournament.

The Aggies (39-14) scored in the ninth to force the game to extras, before winning in the top of the 13th on a three-run homer by senior Matt Juengel. The victory moves A&M to 14-8 and Okie State to 13-9, tied with Texas for third place. If Texas A&M can win one of the two remaining games this weekend in Stillwater and the Longhorns lose once more to first place Baylor, A&M will secure the second seed in the conference tournament in Oklahoma City. The second seed in the tournament would place the Aggies opposite of Baylor, meaning the two wouldn't meet potentially until the title game.

The good news for A&M is that senior Ross Stripling, who threw a no-hitter last weekend against San Diego State, will take the mound for Game 2 on Friday night (6:30 p.m. CT first pitch).
