I'll Have Another looks to keep the Triple Crown dream alive in Baltimore, as the 2012 Preakness is set to be held on Saturday evening.

Ready to get your preak on? Horse racing fans had better be, as the 2012 Preakness is set to be held on Saturday, May 19. As always with the Preakness, the major storyline is the Triple Crown, and this year's Kentucky Derby champion I'll Have Another looks to capture the second leg of the Triple Crown.

The post positions, which were drawn on Wednesday night, are as follows:

  1. Tiger Walk
  2. Teeth of the Dog
  3. Pretension
  4. Zetterholm
  5. Went The Day Well
  6. Creative Cause
  7. Bodemeister
  8. Daddy Nose Best
  9. I'll Have Another
  10. Optimizer
  11. Cozzetii
All eyes will be on the seventh and ninth post positions to start the race. Bodemeister, who set record times en route to a second-place finish at the Kentucky Derby, is the favorite to win this year's Preakness, and has been given 8/5 odds. I'll Have Another, of course, is looking to keep the Triple Crown dream alive, and will break out of the ninth position.

Televised coverage of the Preakness can be found on NBC beginning at 3:30 p.m. CT. Post time is scheduled for 5:17 p.m. CT, 6:17 p.m. locally in Baltimore. Fans looking to catch the race live would be wise to be by a television set no later than 5:15 p.m. CT.
