2012 NCAA Baseball Projections: Texas A&M, Rice, LSU All Hosting Regionals

The latest projections for the 2012 NCAA Regionals are up over at Perfect Game, and Kendall Rogers has Texas A&M, Rice and LSU all hosting teams in the first round of the road to the 2012 College World Series in Omaha. As of Tuesday's finals, here are the projections for area teams:

Houston Regional:

1. Rice

2. Clemson

3. SE Louisiana

4. Oral Roberts

College Station Regional:

1. Texas A&M

2. Arkansas

3. Dallas Baptist

4. Oral Roberts

Baton Rogue Regional:

1. LSU

2. Texas

3. Tulane

4. St. Louis

Meanwhile, two more area teams - Sam Houston and Prairie View A&M - are projected to go to the Waco Regional:

Waco Regional:

1. Baylor

2. TCU

3. Sam Houston State

4. Prairie View A&M

The University of Houston would have to play their way in by winning the C-USA Tournament as a No. 8 seed (they face Rice Wednesday), while both Prairie View and Sam Houston are automatic bids after winning the SWAC and Southland, respectively.
