Baylor (#1, 1-1) vs Kansas State (#8, 1-1) 3:15 (Big 12 Digital Network)

  • Baylor's Max Muncy has reached base safely in 26 consecutive games. Baylor lost 3-2 to Oklahoma yesterday after being swept by them earlier in the season.
  • Kansas State's Wade Hinkle is now tied for the school record in walks in a season with 48 after being walked four times on Thursday.

Texas A&M (#2, 1-1) vs Kansas (#7, 1-1) 7:00 (Big 12 Digital Network)

  • Aggie reliever Estevan Uriegas broke the record for most appearances in a season yesterday with 37, and Kyle Martin is now tied for second and one behind Uriegas with 36 when he pitched Thursday as well.
  • Kansas won its first conference tournament game Thursday since winning the championship on May 28, 2006.

Yesterday was also only the second time that all lower-seeded teams won on the same day in the Big 12 Tournament. This results in Friday's games being a rematch of their Wednesday opening games.
