Astros Vs. Marlins: Houston Bats Silenced In 4-0 Loss

Stay connected for news and updates

The Astros were only able to muster three hits against Carlos Zambrano, who threw a shutout in a 4-0 Houston loss.

Wandy Rodriguez got the start for Houston, giving up four earned runs over eight innings. Houston's three hits came from Jose Altuve, Travis Buck and pinch-hotter Brian Bogusevic. Buck also drew the lone walk for Houston.

All four Marlins runs were scored via home run. Miami broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning when Giancarlo Stanton hit a two-run homer to left field. John Buck hit a solo homer to lead off the sixth to extend the lead to 3-0 and Hanley Ramirez hit a leadoff home run in the ninth inning.

The Astros have now lost two in a row since winning five straight.
