The Aggies won 10 of 11 in the month of May before going 1-2 in the Big 12 Tournament. A&M has had stellar pitching this season, ranked fifth in the country in team ERA at 2.86. Starting pitchers Michael Wacha and Ross Stripling both became members of the 300-Career Strikeout Club this season, and Stripling pitched a no-hitter against San Diego State. The Aggies are led offensively by OF Tyler Naquin is hitting .384 and Joshua House has 8 HR with 55 RBI. A&M ranks fourth nationally with 126 steals.

For Dayton

This is the first appearance in the NCAA Tournament in program history for the Flyers, thanks to sweeping the A-10 Tournament last week. Dayton is currently on a six game win streak. The Flyers are ranked first nationally with 162 steals, and eight different players have at least 10 steals. Bryan Blasik is hitting .344, CJ Gillman has 63 RBI, and Bobby Glover has 9 HR.
