The Astros' losing streak is at six games after a tough road trip, and now the first-place Reds show up at Minute Maid for a NL Central battle.
Houston will return home and try and recover from a brutal week in Colorado, which extended their losing streak to six games. Things don't get easier, as the first-place Cincinnati Reds come to town, winners of nine of their last 12 games. J.A. Happ will get the start for Houston, and is coming off of a 10-strikeout performance in a loss to the Dodgers. Happ took the loss despite only giving up two runs on nine hits in 6 1/3 innings.
The Astros will wear throwback jerseys during Friday night's game against the Reds, as part of "Flashback Fridays," and also induct pitcher J.R. Richard into the Astros Walk Of Fame.
