Rusty Hardin Says 'Justice Won Out' In Roger Clemens Trial... And He's Right

So it looks like the government struck out again, facing Roger Clemens in a full count, if you will. This was the second trial since last year, when the defense team presented evidence to the jury that was known to be prohibited.

This was their redemption shot, a chance to get even with Clemens for supposedly lying to Congress in 2008 AND benefiting from them embarrassing themselves with the mistrial in 2011.

Clemens has been found "not guilty" on all counts of perjury and obstruction of justice.

His attorney Rusty Hardin says that "justice won out" in this one. And you know what? He's right about that.

This trial was childish and embarrassing. With everything that was presented in this case, from the Miller Lite can filled with evidence, to Clemens' wife testifying to being injected by Brian McNamee (we cover the trial in this StoryStream), it would've been disastrous to think someone would suffer legal recourse from all of this.

It's been an exhausting trial and it's finally over. Thankfully no one has to go to jail behind it.
