It took two days, but the LSU Tigers notched a win over Stony Brook in the 2012 NCAA Baseball Super Regionals.

Game one between LSU and Stony Brook was suspended on Friday night, after a two hour and 32 minute rain delay.

Mason Katz, who homered to tie the game at 4-4 in the 11th inning, once again played hero for the Tigers. Katz' single in the 12th inning scored Tyler Moore, giving LSU a walk-off win.

LSU can now advance to the College World Series with a win on Saturday, when LSU and Stony Brook face off again in the Super Regional.

Kevin Gausman pitched a scoreless 12th to earn the victory for LSU. Gausman faced just three batters, and notched a strikeout.

Frankie Vanderka took the loss for Stony Brook. Vanderka came on in the 12th, and recorded just one out, giving up two hits and issuing an intentional walk.
