For awhile, it looked like Serena Williams was going to cruise to her fifth Wimbledon title. Williams dominated the first set, winning it 6-1 over Agnieszka Radwanska.
Radwanska, though, did everything she could to make it a match, as she went up 6-5 in the second set, and broke Williams' serve in the final game, winning the second set 7-5.
Williams, though, was not going to be denied another chance at Wimbledon glory.
Williams quickly went up 5-2 in the third set, after breaking Radwanska's serve in the seventh game. After breaking Radwanska, Williams was therefore in position to serve for the Grand Slam title -- an opportunity that she would not waste, winning the game, and the match, 6-1, 5-7, 6-2.
The win is Williams' first Grand Slam victory since winning at Wimbledon in 2010. We'll see later this year if Williams makes a run at the U.S. Open.
