The Vikings running back will not back down against charges filed against him in Houston.
Adrian Peterson is bringing in a big name to fight the charges that had him arrested in Houston over the weekend. He plans on hiring an attorney that is well-known around these parts.
Filed to ESPN: Adrian Peterson has hired high-profile attorney Rusty Hardin to represent him after weekend arrest. Hardin was Clemens attny.

But the hoopla around the incident might be over before it even starts. The Houston Police Department is expected to back down.
Houston Police spokesman tells NFL.com that Peterson likely to get a fine. Expects case to be adjudicated quickly.
