The London Olympics are now over and that means there is a winner in the medal count, and this summer it was the United States who earned 102 medals, 46 of them being gold, to pull away to defeat China. As for the athletes who came from Houston there were 13 athletes who had connections to Houston, and out of that group there were four medals that were won, and they came in boxing, track and field plus a swimming relay.
