The second round of the Barclays tournament at Bethpage is nearly complete and the current leaders are Sergio Garcia and Nick Watney who are both at 8-under par through their two rounds. Gary Christian is right on their tails at 7-under par with five holes left.

Texas-native Bob Estes has shot up the leaderboard to be tied for third place, and one stroke off the lead, thanks to a strong second round where he shot a 5-under par, round of 66. That score is the second best of the day, and in his second round he had six pars and managed only one bogey during Friday's round. On his back nine he had stretch where had netted three birdies over four holes.
