Olympic Gymnastics Results 2012: Houston Native Jonathan Horton Finishes Sixth In Horizontal Bar

The gold medal finals continued on Tuesday in the individual gymnastics disciplines at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Houston native Jonathan Horton was one of two United States gymnasts competing in the finals for the men's horizontal bar, but neither American was able to bring home a medal for the U.S.

Horton finished all the way down in sixth place with a score of 15.466. Right ahead of him in fifth place was fellow American Danell Leyva, who scored a 15.833.

Epke Zonderland from the Netherlands took home the gold with a score of 16.533, edging out Fabian Hambuechen of Germany, whose 16.400 took the silver medal. China's Kai Zhou captured the bronze with a score of 16.366.
