The LSU Tigers will look for their first SEC victory of the season when they face reeling Auburn on Saturday.
The Auburn Tigers had a bad start to their season, losing their first two games against Clemson and Mississippi State in bad fashion. They did manage to beat Louisiana-Monroe in their third game, but they needed overtime and a field goal to do it. With all that in mind, it's no surprise that the LSU Tigers are heavily favored going into their game against Auburn on Saturday.
Les Miles' powerful Tigers team has won its first three games by a combined score of 145-31 and has not scored fewer than 41 points so far in any game. They're an offensive machine, with Kenny Hilliard leading a strong rushing unit and Zach Mettenberger leading through the air. Having a defense that pulled down four interceptions against the Idaho Vandals doesn't hurt them either.
Auburn's weak play does not bode well for the Tigers, even in their win over Louisiana-Monroe they could only put up 31 points. It would be a monster upset if they were able to take down one of the biggest contenders for this year's national championship.
Odds: LSU favored by 18 points.
Game Time, TV: Sept. 22, 6 p.m. CT, ESPN
