No. 2 LSU will travel to Auburn on Saturday night for an SEC showdown at 6 p.m. CT.

Eager to open their 2012 SEC schedule on a high note, Les Miles' LSU Tigers will hit the road on Saturday night to face off against a struggling Auburn team at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Louisiana State has already managed to outscore its opponents 145-31 on the young season, but has yet to square off against a top-ranked defensive unit, with wins over only North Texas, Idaho and Washington to its credit thus far.

Offensively, opponents have been completely unable to slow down the duo of Alfred Blue and Kenny Hilliard in the Tigers' backfield. Hilliard, a 5'11, 240-pound sophomore, currently leads the team with six rushing scores and 303 yards on the ground after just three games.

Auburn will enter on a completely desperate slide that almost saw Gene Chizik's team fall to a woeful 0-3 record last week against Louisiana-Monroe. An overtime field goal ultimately saved Auburn from its third straight defeat to open the year, but Chizik's squad will need to be much more focused against the No. 2 team in American come Saturday.

Game time: 6 p.m. CT

Spread: LSU - 18.5
