Deutsche Bank Championship 2012 Purse: Rory McIlroy Takes Home $1.4 Million

Rory McIlroy's first place finish at the 2012 Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston has earned him $1.44 million in winnings, as well as moving him to first place in the FedEx Cup Standings, with 2,500 points.

Louis Oosthuizen collects $864,000 as consolation for his second-place finish, while Tiger Woods's solid tournament nets him $544,000 for his third-place finish. Phil Mickelson's final-round surge moves him up to $352,000 in winnings.

Texas native Bob Estes takes home $28,000 of the total $8 million purse for his finish at 42nd place.
