2012 U.S. Open Tennis: TV Schedule, Matches, Live Streaming And More

Austin resident Andy Roddick and his abrupt retirement have been the storyline for the 2012 U.S. Open thus far, but now that the American has been eliminated, the focus turns to the potential champions. Not among them is No. 1 seed Roger Federer.

Federer lost in four sets to sixth-seeded Tomas Berdych on Wednesday. Berdych will play No. 3 Andy Murray in a semifinal.

The other semifinal will be decided Thursday. Defending U.S. Open champion and No. 2 Novak Djokovic takes on No. 7 Juan Martin del Potro (who ousted Roddick on Wednesday) at 6 p.m. The winner will face the winner of the Janko Tipsarevic-David Ferrer matchup, which takes place a little after noon Thursday. Both matches will be on ESPN2.

Also on tap for Thursday is a scheduled doubles exhibition pitting tennis legend John McEnroe and his Anger Management bud, non-tennis legend Adam Sandler, against Jimmy Connors and Kevin James, he of Paul Blart infamy. ESPN2 has you covered there if you like to watch that sort of thing.
