SB Nation's latest mock has the Texans taking Manti Te'o out of Notre Dame.

The Houston Texans hold the 27th pick in the draft. Their biggest needs boil down to wide receiver and linebacker, and some online draftniks have them addressing the latter.

SB Nation's Matthew Fairburn released his latest mock draft on Monday, and he has the Texans taking Notre Dame ILB Manti Te'o in the first round:

Manti Te'o's draft stock is tough to pin down. As a player, he's a mid-to-late first round prospect. Add in the distraction he could bring, and it's tough to tell which teams will want to take a chance on him. He makes sense for Houston because of the leadership in place and the need in the middle of the defense.

Te'o is making the biggest headlines at the Combine, for obvious reasons. He said and did all the right things during his Friday presser, but the on-field results left something to be desired, as he ran an uninspiring 4.82 40. For better or worse, Te'o is going to be one of the hottest subjects over the next two months as teams are still trying to figure him out.
