Banks is a former 97-pound tight end for the Rosa Scott Middle School Jaguars and left-handed catcher for the Madison-Ridgeland Youth League from Madison, MS. He attended the University of Mississippi, where he survived Ed Orgeron, the end of Houston Nutt's career, and Ole Miss baseball blowing it's first trip to Omaha in 36 years with 5 outs to go. Besides college sports, he enjoys hunting and deep sea fishing, even though he's not good at either.
