Both the Aggies and the Owls are in good shape before pivotal end-of-season series next weekend against conference foes.

With only two weekends left to go in the 2012 regular season, Texas A&M and Rice are still on pace to host regionals, at least according to the latest projections from ESPN.com.

While he doesn't have either as a national seed, Jeremy Mills has the Aggies hosting Arkansas, Southeastern Louisiana and Jacksonville State in a College Station Regional. The Owls, meanwhile, would host Texas, TCU and Stony Brook in a Houston Regional.

Texas A&M has a huge road series next weekend against Oklahoma State, as the two teams are currently tied for second place in the Big 12, with the Cowboys one of Mills' first nine teams out of the NCAA Tournament.

Rice ends their season with a showdown against UCF in Orlando that will likely decide the C-USA regular season crown.
