The Houston Astros and Ed Wade may, or may not, have turned down an offer of Jarred Cosart, Jonathan Singleton and another prospect for Hunter Pence, but Philadelphia still seems intent on getting their man, no matter how many reports that the outfielder is staying put.
With Colby Rasmus and Carlos Beltran gone, it seems as if Wade's hardballing may in fact pay off, as Jim Salisbury of CSN Philly says that Ruben Amaro Jr may be forced to include Domonic Brown:

As this rumbles on Jon Heyman says that the Astros are stepping up efforts to deal other players, Michael Bourn, Wandy Rodriguez and Brett Myers.
