Houston Astros Represented In New MLB Network Game Show

You know the only reason I was disappointed with this story? My DVR guide only goes two weeks ahead of time, so I couldn't automatically set it up to record Baseball I.Q., which sounds like it'll be a very cool new game show on MLB Network. Here's the description:

Hosted by MLB Network's Matt Vasgersian, Baseball IQ is a recall-based trivia show featuring two participants, 30 minutes and a chance to win up to $45,000 for charity. Questions will cover all things baseball, from current players and managers to World Series champions, MVPs, Cy Young Award winners, Hall of Famers, milestones and more.

Every team will be represented, with Houston sending ticket service representative Benjamin Coburn. Let's start rooting for Benjamin to win now, especially over the Cubs guy, who was a Corporate Representative...just sounds uptight, doesn't he?

Lots of statistical researchers in here too, because, well, stat nerds are absurdly good at trivia. If the showrunners have any sense of humor, they'll throw them a bunch of questions about Jack Morris, Jim Rice and grit. Don't you want to watch just to see if they do? I'm giddy already!
