Pepperdine Baseball Takes Page From Astros

Thanks to Astros County for the link and Larry Brown Sports for the awesome picture. Apparently, Pepperdine University decided to spice up its uniforms by going with the Houston Astros old rainbow uni look.

These are not the most attractive, but they are most definitely beloved. I'm sure these college kids will appreciate that, even if they never actually watched the Astros play any games in these.

For the record, Houston has only drafted three players out of Pepperdine in its history, and just one of those made the majors, but I'd wager you may have never heard of David Matranga unless you are a hardcore Astros fan.
