Astros Vs. Braves: Houston Can't Make Comeback in 6-4 Loss to Atlanta

Sporting their awesome Colt .45 jerseys, the Houston Astros' three-game winning streak came to an end with Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Braves.

Kyle Weiland gave up four earned runs in five innings, picking up the loss for Houston. The Astros took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a single from Marwin Gonzalez, but the Braves answered with three runs in the top of the third, all with two outs. Tyler Pastornicky hit a solo home run in the top of the fourth to extend Atlanta's lead to 4-1.

A Carlos Lee single in the bottom of the fifth cut the deficit to two runs, but the Braves scored another run in the top of the seventh. In the bottom of the inning, the Astros had four hits and scored two runs. But the comeback fell short as the Braves scored a run in the top of the eighth and Houston couldn't plate any more runs.

Lee went 3-for-3 with two walks and two RBIs. Jordan Schafer went 3-for-5 with two runs scored.
