Houston looks to match its strong hitting of late with a few key wins in a NL Central series with the Reds in Cincinnati.
After a bit of rest and a big win to close out a road series at division rival Milwaukee, the Astros head to another NL Central foe for a weekend series with the Reds. Houston has hit the ball strong of late, outscoring their opponents 89-81, but are just 7-12 overall.
Wandy Rodriguez will get the start for Houston, taking the hill with a 0.64 ERA after two very strong starts in his last outings. He tossed seven shutout innings against the Dodgers in his last appearance. Kyle Weiland had been scheduled to start the opener but was scratched due to soreness in his shoulder.
