The Astros just took two of three from the AL Central leading Chicago White Sox, but in their own NL Central division the Astros are sitting in fifth place and are seven games behind the Reds.

The NL Central division is top heavy with the Pirates coming in at second only 1/2 game back, and then the Cardinals are 2.5 games out of first place.

This past week the Astros turned their game around by going 4-3 which is a vast improvement from their eight-game losing streak which preceded the current week.

The next series for the Astros is another road tilt as they travel West to take on the San Francisco Giants.
