The Houston Astros are looking to avoid being swept in San Francisco in a matinee series finale on Thursday. In the wake of Matt Cain's perfect game on Wednesday an Madison Bumgarner's 12-strikeout performance Tuesday, Barry Zito will take the hill against Wandy Rodriguez.
The Astros are looking for any kind of spark out of their bats, after being held to just three runs on seven hits in two games, and striking out 26 times.
After Wednesday's game, the Astros have now dropped 15 series in the 2012 season.
