Astros Vs. Padres: Wandy Rodriguez Kicks Off Series Against San Diego

Stay connected for news and updates

For the first time in exactly a month, the Houston Astros can win their third game in a row if they beat the San Diego Padres on Monday. Houston took their last two games from the Cleveland Indians over the weekend.

The Astros have the right person on the mound to pull it off, as Wandy Rodriguez (6-5, 3.29 ERA) gets the ball. Rodriguez, though, has not won a home start in over a month.

Opposing him for the Padres will be Ross Ohlendorf (1-0, 4.50 ERA). The 29-year old right-hander has never had success against Houston, sporting a career record of 0-6 against the Astros with a 5.89 ERA.
