The Astros missed out on quite a few scoring opportunities and had some key pitches they probably wanted back by the end of their series opener against the Padres on Monday, but Tuesday is a new day and the Stros are looking to get back to their winning ways.
Jordan Lyles will take the mound on Tuesday (1-4, 5.04 ERA) facing Elkins High School alum Kip Wells for the Padres in the pitching duel. Wells hasn't pitched in a major league game since 2009.
