St. Louis Cardinals Vs. Houston Astros Wednesday Lineups

The Houston Astros look to take the second game of a three game set against the defending World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals on Wednesday night at Minute Maid Park in Houston.

Both Brad Mills and Mike Matheny have announced the starting lineups for Wednesday night's contest, and they are as follows:

St. Louis Cardinals

SS Rafael Furcal
2B Daniel Descalso
RF Carlos Beltran
LF Allen Craig
3B David Freese
C Yadier Molina
1B Matt Adams
CF Adron Chambers
SP Adam Wainwright

Houston Astros

2B Jose Altuve
SS Jed Lowrie
RF Fernando Martinez
LF J.D. Martinez
3B Chris Johnson
1B Brett Wallace
CF Justin Maxwell
C Jason Castro
SP Bud Norris

Notably absent from St. Louis' lineup is slugger Matt Holliday, who is likely just receiving a night off from Cards manager Mike Matheny.

Since 2009, Bud Norris is 7-2 against the Cardinals and seems to be St. Louis' kyrptonite. On the other hand, Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright has never lost at Minute Maid Park, with a 4-0 record and 1.83 ERA all-time there.
