The Astros come limping into Interleague play looking for some goodwill from their future neighbors. First up, a trip to the South Side in a 2005 World Series rematch.
The Houston Astros lost their eighth consecutive rubber game of the year on Thursday, getting blown out by the St. Louis Cardinals. Houston is now 2-8 in their last ten, and will limp into Interleague play in a rematch of the 2005 World Series against a White Sox team that's won seven of their last ten and are in first place in the AL Central.
Carlos Lee, the team's normal designated hitter when playing at American League parks, is on the DL, so Astros manager Bud Norris has said that J.D. Martinez will likely play the role in Chicago.
