Astros Vs. Brewers Final Score: Houston Closes Out First Half With 5-3 Loss

The Houston Astros closed the first half of the MLB's regular season with a 5-3 loss in 10 innings to the Milwaukee Brewers.

Houston wasted a good outing by starter Jordan Lyles who went seven innings and allowed six hits and two runs. Ryan Braun's eighth inning single tied the score 3-3 and the Brewers tacked on two more runs in the top of the 10th.

Fernando Rodriguez takes the loss allowing two hits and two runs in an inning of work. Manny Parra picks up his first win of the season with a scoreless inning of relief. Jose Altuve had a double and an RBI for the Astros and JD Martinez drove in his 49th run of the season.

Rickie Weeks went 3 for 5 with a homer and two RBIs for Milwaukee.
