Astros Vs. Mets: Houston Looks To Maintain Winning Ways Against New York

The Houston Astros (40-87) were defeated Saturday night by the New York Mets 3-1, ending their four-game winning streak against New York (58-69). Sunday, Houston takes the field looking to make it five out of six against the Big Apple's other ballclub. The Mets are the only team in the National League the Astros have a winning record against.

Pleasant surprise Lucas Harrell (10-9, 4.04 ERA) will be on the mound for Houston on Sunday. The right hander's first seven starts of the season yielded a 3-2 mark with a 2.06 ERA, but Harrell has struggled of late and allowed six runs in five innings his last time out on Tuesday.

Jeremy Hefner (2-5, 5.11 ERA) will take the hill for New York. This will be Hefner's second start since joining the rotation. Last Sunday the righty allowed five runs (two home runs) in five innings of work.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. EST from Citi Field.
