Struggling Astros closer Francisco Cordero will be able to get some rest, albeit because of an injury.
Houston placed Cordero on the DL before Friday's game with right foot inflammation.

Since coming to the Astros from the Blue Jays two weeks ago, Cordero has allowed 11 earned runs in five innings with three blown saves and losses. He had a 5.77 ERA in 41 games with the Blue Jays before coming over. Storey has posted a 3.05 ERA in 38 games for Triple-A Oklahoma.
